Filter Sock 7" (18cm) – Nylon 150 micron

150 micron nylon filter sock for mechanical filtration in saltwater and freshwater aquariums. The dense filter material collects fine particulate matter, debris, and other suspended material from the water before it reaches other filtration stages in the sump.

Features

• Nylon filter sock
• 150 micron filtration accuracy
• For mechanical water filtration
• Diameter 17.8 cm / 7"
• Cleanable and reusable

Usage

The filter sock can be installed directly into a compatible filter sock holder in the sump. If there is no pre-existing holder in the sump, a separate sock stand or holder can be purchased for the filter sock.

Product is delivered without a filter sock holder.

150 micron filtration effectively removes fine particulate matter from the water, so the sock should be cleaned regularly to maintain good flow.
